바우메로의 가죽 제품은 지역기반의 소규모 공방들에서 전통적인 장인 생산 기술을 통해 제작됩니다. 주문 물량에 맞춰 재고를 남기지 않는 전제품 [정량 제작]을 목표로 하고 있으며, 현재는 90% 이상의 제품라인에서 재고를 남기지 않고 있습니다.

Baumero's leather products are produced through traditional artisanal production techniques at small-scale local workshops. Our goal is to produce products based on a [made-to-order] approach, without leaving excess inventory. Currently, we do not leave excess inventory for over 90% of our product line.
HAND STITCH

원단(Fabric)을 제외한 모든 제품은 100% 손바느질로 제작합니다. 장인 생산에서 주로 사용하는 손바느질은 새들 스티치(Saddle stitch)라 하여 왕족이나 귀족의 안장을 제작하는 데 사용된 전통적인 프랑스식 바느질 기법입니다. 미싱 재봉에 비해 더욱 정교하고 튼튼하며 심미적으로도 우월합니다.

All products, except for the fabric, are made entirely by hand stitching. The artisanal production process mainly uses a traditional French stitching technique called "Saddle stitch," which was used to create saddles for nobles and aristocrats. This method is more precise, durable, and aesthetically superior compared to machine stitching.

장인 생산의 주된 원칙은 한 개의 제품을 한 사람이 제작하는 것입니다. 각 제품에는 제작자 개개인의 자존심이 담겨있으며, 우리는 그것을 장인정신이라고 부릅니다. 바우메로의 모든 제품에는 제작자가 직접 서명한 ‘장인 카드’가 동봉되어 있으며, 소비자가 요청한 수선/수정사항은 해당 제작자가 직접 작업합니다.

The main principle of artisanal production is to have one person create one product. Each product embodies the pride of the individual maker, and we call this the "artisan spirit." Every product from Baumero comes with an "Artisan Card" personally signed by the maker, and any repairs or alterations requested by the consumer are directly handled by the same maker.

대량생산은 인류에게 물질적 풍요를 가져다주었지만, 필연적으로 발생하는 낭비 문화와 폐기 시스템이 야기하는 환경오염은 전례 없는 속도로 우리의 터전을 망가뜨리고 있습니다. 대량생산 시스템은 더 이상 우리가 미래로 가져가야 할 산업구조가 아닙니다. 바우메로는 공방 기반의 [주문 생산]을 지향합니다. 주문 생산은 수요에 맞는 공급을 일정하게 유지할 수 있기 때문에 물건이 낭비되거나 폐기되는 일이 발생하지 않습니다. 또한 장인이 만드는 고품질 물건은 대를 이어가며 사용할 수 있고, 제작하는 과정에서 발생하는 유해 물질도 최소화할 수 있게 됩니다.

Mass production has brought material abundance to humanity, but the waste culture and
disposal systems that inevitably arise have been rapidly destroying our environment at an unprecedented pace.
The mass production system is no longer the industrial structure we should take into the future.
Baumero pursues workshop-based "made-to-order" production. Made-to-order production can maintain
a consistent supply according to demand, avoiding waste or disposal of goods.
In addition, high-quality items crafted by artisans can be used by future generations,
and the production process can minimize the use of harmful substances.
QUALITY MATERIALS

오래 사용할 수 있는 천연소재를 엄선합니다. 제품에 주로 사용하는 대부분의 가죽은 디자이너가 의도한 정확한 색감을 표현하기 위해 생산 시 조색 단계에서 직접적인 관여를 합니다. 밀도가 튼튼하고 질감이 유연한 최고급 원피인 Full Grain 소가죽만을 고집하고 있으며, 안감으로는 불필요한 화학소재 원단의 사용을 줄이면서, 있는 그대로의 가죽 질감을 표현하기 위해 가죽의 뒷면에 스웨이드 가공을 하여 마감하는 방식을 사용합니다.

또한 바우메로의 가죽제품은 ‘린넨사’를 사용하는 것이 자랑입니다. 우리가 사용하는 ‘린넨사’는 시간이 흘러도 내구성이 변하지 않으며, 천연소재로 제작된 실이기 때문에 폐기 시 생분해된다는 장점을 가지고 있습니다. 린넨사는 폴리사에 비해 30배에 달하는 고가의 실임에도, 바우메로는 브랜드의 철학을 위하여 린넨사만을 고집하고 있습니다.

Baumero carefully selects natural materials that can be used for a long time. Most of the leather used in our products undergoes a direct coloring process during production to achieve the precise colors envisioned by our designers. Only the highest quality full-grain cow leather, which has a strong density and flexible texture, is used, and the suede processing is applied to the back of the leather to express the natural leather texture while reducing the use of unnecessary chemical materials for the lining.

In addition, Baumero takes pride in using "linen thread" for its leather products.
The linen thread used is durable even over time and has the advantage of being biodegradable when disposed
of since it is made of natural materials. Despite being 30 times more expensive than polyester thread,
Baumero insists on using linen thread for the brand's philosophy.
